Paula Ali
Paula Ali embarked on her artistic journey in 1959 in Cuba, where she first gained recognition as a television model. By 1965, she made a significant transition to the Teatro Martí, a cornerstone of Cuban culture celebrated for its vernacular theater and renowned actors of the bufo genre.
In 1970, Ali joined Teatro Estudio, one of Cuba's most esteemed theater companies, where she has continued to thrive to this day. Recently, she has also collaborated with the acclaimed group El Público, earning accolades for her leading role in Carlos Díaz's production of "La Celestina," which has garnered considerable acclaim.
Throughout her extensive theatrical career, Paula has portrayed a diverse array of pivotal characters in both classic Cuban and universal plays. In addition to her stage work, she has appeared in six telenovelas and participated in numerous teleplays, television theater productions, and series, including the well-loved comedic show "Punto G."
Her talent has taken her beyond Cuba's borders, as she has toured across Portugal, Yugoslavia, Spain, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Colombia, showcasing her artistry on international stages.
