River Faught

1 title Acting Feb 11, 1975 Kansas City, Missouri, USA

River Faught embarked on his journey toward acting while attending Arkansas State University, where he initially pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with aspirations of attending law school. However, his passion for performance ultimately led him to make a bold move. In July 1998, just a year after graduation, River packed his belongings into a U-Haul, hitched his Jeep, and set off for Los Angeles with only $3,000 to his name and no place to stay. After three days of searching for an apartment, he finally secured a home in Studio City—just in time, as the U-Haul was due back that day. He fondly recalls the moment he called his father from a payphone at the bustling corner of Vineland and Ventura Boulevard, exhilarated to be so close to Universal Studios.

River quickly made his mark in the entertainment industry, landing his first significant role in a national commercial for Red Stripe Beer. This opened the door for appearances on the ABC Family Channel, various documentaries, and numerous commercials. Today, River showcases his versatility, starring in feature films, reality shows, TV pilots, and music videos.

In addition to his acting career, River is also a talented writer. He has penned a "Dark Comedy" screenplay, registered with the Writers Guild of America, which is currently making its way through various screenplay contests. He is already in the process of developing his second screenplay, further expanding his creative horizons.
