Mary Walsh
Mary Cynthia Walsh, CM, was born on May 13, 1952, in St. John's, Newfoundland. She is a talented actress, comedian, and dedicated social activist. Throughout her career, Walsh has been vocal about her experiences with macular degeneration, occasionally serving as a spokesperson for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).
In her personal life, Walsh welcomed her son Jesse in 1989 and has been married to Don Nichol, an English professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland, since 2002.
