Aileen Quinn
Aileen Quinn, born on June 28, 1971, was inspired by her mother, Helenann, to pursue a career in the performing arts. Growing up in Yardley, Pennsylvania, Aileen's passion for acting blossomed, leading her to secure a variety of roles in local productions.
Her first film appearance occurred in _Paternity_ alongside Burt Reynolds, but it was her role in the Broadway production of 'Annie' that truly set the stage for her future. As the Swing Orphan, she adeptly covered multiple orphan roles, ensuring smooth performances whenever cast members were unavailable. In 1981, Aileen was selected from a staggering 8,000 hopefuls to portray Annie in the film adaptation directed by John Huston. The movie, released in 1982, featured a soundtrack that went platinum that summer.
Following her success in _Annie_, Aileen starred in _The Frog Prince_ and continued her theater journey, performing in various productions, including 'The Wizard of Oz' and a reprise of 'Annie' on stage. After graduating from high school in 1989, she attended Pitzer College and later transferred to Drew University, where she earned a B.A. in Spanish with honors.
Aileen returned to the theater in 1994, playing Bette in 'Oliver!' at the Paper Mill Playhouse and touring with 'Fiddler on the Roof.' In 1998, she made her Broadway return in 'Peter Pan.' Additionally, Aileen recorded a rare album, with only a handful of copies available among dedicated collectors. Her multifaceted career showcases her enduring talent and passion for the performing arts.
