Trilok Kapoor (February 11, 1912 – September 23, 1988) was a prominent figure in Indian cinema, known for his contributions as an actor in Bollywood. He belonged to the illustrious Kapoor family and was the younger sibling of renowned actor Prithviraj Kapoor.

Born in Peshawar to Dewan Basheshwarnath Kapoor, Trilok grew up in a Punjabi household and made his entry into the nascent Hindi film industry during the 1930s. He quickly established himself as one of the most successful actors of his time, captivating audiences with his performances. After starting his career in Calcutta, he later relocated to Mumbai, where he became a familiar face in the film industry.

Trilok's residence in Union Park, Chembur, remains one of the last original bungalows in the area, which has since been renamed Trilok Kapoor Marg in his honor. He was a family man, raising two sons: Vicky Kapoor, who pursued a career in law and politics, and Vijay Kapoor, who followed in his father's footsteps into the film industry as a director.

Throughout his career, Trilok Kapoor left an indelible mark on Indian cinema, contributing to its growth and evolution during a pivotal period. His legacy continues to influence aspiring artists in the film industry today.
