Inma Pavon
Inma Pavon is a versatile Spanish artist, choreographer, and educator residing in Cork, Ireland. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education for Primary Schools from the University of Granada, followed by a Master’s in Contemporary Dance Performance from the University of Limerick, and a Master of Philosophy in Creative Dance/Art Practice from University College Cork.
Pavon is an esteemed member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO and holds the distinction of being a Contemporary Affiliate Dance Teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance in the UK. She leads InmaPavonDanceCo, where she conducts contemporary dance classes and workshops for adults. Additionally, she serves as a lecturer in the id+Project and Theatre Studies at UCC.
In 2023, she was honored to be the ‘Creative Dance Artist in Residence’ at The Rory Gallagher Music Library in Cork. Her innovative work was recognized with a commission for a new piece titled "Art Movements" by the Glucksman Gallery at UCC, which has since become part of the UCC Arts Collection. Pavon continues to make significant contributions to the dance community, blending her artistic vision with education and collaboration to inspire others.
