Michael Lucas, the visionary founder and president of Lucas Entertainment, was born on March 10, 1972, in Moscow, Russia. Growing up in the vibrant city, Lucas pursued a law degree before embarking on a transformative journey that led him to Germany and then France. It was in Europe where he began his career in modeling, making appearances on various television shows and gracing the covers of numerous magazines.

In 1998, Lucas took a bold step by establishing Lucas Entertainment in New York City, a move that would redefine adult entertainment. His directorial debut, "Back in the Saddle," received critical acclaim, marking the start of his distinctive, renegade approach to filmmaking that celebrated New York’s rich diversity.

In 2004, he launched Lucas Distribution, Inc., followed by LucasBlog.com in 2005, both of which emerged as innovative platforms in adult video distribution and online media. That same year, he released "Dangerous Liaisons," which won GayVN's Best Picture award and featured notable cameos from celebrities like RuPaul and Boy George.
