Marc Winnick
Marc Winnick, a native of Los Angeles, grew up in the vibrant San Fernando Valley, where the seeds of his artistic career were planted early on. As the son of renowned comedian and television writer Jerry Winnick, who boasts over 275 credits, Marc was naturally drawn to the performance arts. He and his twin brother began their careers as child actors, appearing in commercials for brands like Chiquita Banana and Double Mint Gum.
Marc's educational journey took him through the Van Nuys Performing Arts High School and UCLA, where he refined his comedic skills through a variety of performances, including sketches, plays, and short films. His talent shone brightly in theater competitions, where he garnered multiple awards for his work in Shakespearean performances, improv, and sketch comedy.
After a brief foray into the corporate world, Marc realized his true passion lay in entertainment. He pursued acting more seriously, honing his craft under the guidance of notable instructors such as Lesly Kahn & Co and UCB Improv. He immersed himself in Hollywood’s indie improv scene, performing at numerous open mics and with various troupes.
Marc's breakthrough came when he starred in the sci-fi film Shadow Puppets alongside James Marsters and Jolene Blalock, followed by roles in Guns, Girls and Gambling featuring Gary Oldman and Code of Honor with Steven Seagal. Outside of acting, he enjoys writing, sports—especially baseball as a dedicated Dodgers fan—and indulging in pop culture, particularly in the realms of sci-fi and fantasy, including beloved franchises like Star Wars and Marvel.
