Eric Maher

Eric Maher, widely recognized in the wrestling community as Eddie Edwards, has made a significant mark as an American professional wrestler. Currently affiliated with IMPACT Wrestling, he boasts an impressive resume that includes being a former IMPACT World Champion, a two-time IMPACT X Division Champion, and a five-time IMPACT World Tag Team Champion alongside his partner, Davey Richards.

Before his tenure with IMPACT, Edwards showcased his talent in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he achieved remarkable success. He not only held the ROH World Championship but also became the inaugural Television Champion. As part of The American Wolves, he captured the ROH World Tag Team Championship twice. His victory in the Survival of the Fittest tournament in November 2010 was a pivotal moment that led him to secure the World Championship, making him the first wrestler to achieve the ROH Triple Crown.

In addition to his accomplishments in the United States, Edwards has also made a name for himself internationally. He has been a regular performer for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) and has toured Japan with Pro Wrestling Noah, where he made history as the first foreigner to hold the GHC Heavyweight Championship. To date, Edwards has amassed a total of 13 championships across IMPACT, ROH, and Noah, distinguishing himself as the only wrestler to have held world titles in all three promotions.
