Thuraya Fakhry
Thuraya Fakhry, an accomplished Egyptian actress with Lebanese roots, was born in Zahle, Lebanon, into a modest family where her father was involved in the textile industry. From a young age, she exhibited a passion for acting, captivating audiences with her performance as a mother during school plays. At the age of 25, Thuraya moved to Egypt with her father, who sought new opportunities after closing his business in Lebanon. The duo settled in Alexandria, where she joined Ali Al-Kassar's renowned theatrical troupe. Over the course of her career, Thuraya graced the stage in around 32 productions, collaborating with various theater groups.
