Cameron Jack

Cameron Jack, a talented Scottish actor, was born in 1972 in Partick, Glasgow, into a working-class family with roots in shipbuilding. His passion for performing arts led him to win the Margaret Rutherford scholarship in 1992, allowing him to pursue acting at Mountview Theatre School in North London, from which he graduated in 1995.

Over the years, Jack has carved a diverse career path, showcasing his versatility across a variety of platforms, including West End musicals, independent British films, and major Hollywood productions. He gained significant recognition in the mid to late 1990s through his television roles in popular series like 'Taggart', 'The Bill', 'The Vanishing Man', and 'Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married'.

His big break in film came in 2011 when he appeared as 'Sewer Thug 1' in Christopher Nolan's acclaimed 'The Dark Knight Rises', the final installment of the Batman trilogy. Following this, he joined the cast of the BBC series 'Waterloo Road' in 2013 and appeared in new sitcoms like 'Man Down'.

In 2014, Jack portrayed Lewis Milton in the long-running crime drama 'Silent Witness'. The following year, he starred in the UK thriller 'Level Up' and the notable sci-fi film 'What Happened To Monday', alongside talents such as Noomi Rapace and Glenn Close. His role in 'Calibre' (2016) as Frank McClay contributed to the film's success, which earned the esteemed Michael Powell Award for Best British Film at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2018.
