Todd Barry, born on March 26, 1964, in The Bronx, New York, is a renowned American actor and stand-up comedian celebrated for his signature deadpan humor. Raised in Florida, he pursued an English degree at the University of Florida, graduating in 1986. Before embarking on his comedy career, Barry showcased his musical talents as a drummer for the indie rock band The Chant during 1984-1985.

In 1999, he gained recognition when his special, Comedy Central Presents, premiered. Barry's creativity extends beyond stand-up; he wrote, directed, and starred in the 2002 short film Borrowing Saffron, which featured H. Jon Benjamin. He has made numerous guest appearances on influential animated series, including Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, Home Movies, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
