David Rudman, born on June 1, 1964, is a talented puppeteer, voice actor, and producer, renowned for his performances as various Muppet characters on "Sesame Street." He is celebrated for originating the character Baby Bear and has garnered two Emmy nominations for stepping into the role of Cookie Monster, a part previously held by Frank Oz, who still occasionally collaborates on new material for the character. Following the passing of Richard Hunt, Rudman also took on Hunt’s role in the beloved "Two Headed Monster."

Rudman's career began with Rankin/Bass Productions, where he contributed to projects like "Rudolph's Shiny New Year." He currently serves as the executive producer and voice of Jack in "Jack's Big Music Show," which airs on Nick Jr., and he is also the co-creator, director, and executive producer of "Bunnytown" for Playhouse Disney.

In addition to his professional achievements, Rudman has been an active speaker at his alma mater, Highland Park High School, where he graduated in 1981, and has participated in the school's Focus on the Arts program since 2003. He furthered his education at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. David Rudman resides in Highland Park with his wife and their three children. He is set to take over the roles of Scooter and Janice, previously performed by Richard Hunt.
