Thomas Tyndale Godwin, born on December 19, 1975, in Scarborough, is a distinguished actor and movement specialist. His artistic foundation was laid at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, where he honed his craft. Godwin's upcoming projects include roles in the television series The English directed by Hugo Blick, Knockers by Lucy Cohen, and Ridley Scott's highly anticipated film Napoleon.

Godwin's recent theatrical accomplishments feature his portrayal of iconic figures such as Andy Warhol, Bobby Kennedy, and Enoch Powell in the critically acclaimed production Best of Enemies at the Young Vic, which is set to transfer to the prestigious Noel Coward Theatre in London’s West End.

After completing two years of training with Jacques Lecoq in 1996, Godwin spent five transformative years creating and performing in international theatre across cities like Barcelona, Tokyo, Tashkent, Porto, and New York. Upon returning to London, he became involved with Blow Up Theatre, presenting works at the Edinburgh Festival and touring throughout the UK. His early career included various television and theatre roles, alongside teaching movement at top drama schools.

His breakthrough came with his involvement in the original cast of ENRON, produced by Headlong Theatre, which sparked a fruitful collaboration with Scott Marshall Partners and led to projects at esteemed venues such as the National Theatre, Royal Court, and Shakespeare's Globe. Notably, he originated the role of Phil Spector in Tina! The Tina Turner Musical.

In addition to his acting career, Godwin continues to teach movement and has worked as a Movement Director and Consultant, contributing to innovative projects including motion capture at Imaginarium Studios and coaching stunt performers for Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
