Ivan King

Ivan King, born on December 23, 1989, in Italy, initially pursued a career as a comic-book artist before shifting his focus to filmmaking during his studies at an art school. At the age of 15, he began exploring the world of cinema, taking on roles as a director, editor, and actor in his own short films.

In 2010, he founded the king UNIT, a collective of filmmakers. His breakout short film, "Like God" (2012), garnered critical acclaim, winning the Best Short Film Award at The Reign of Horror Short Movie Awards in 2013. He followed this success with "The House of the Rising Sun" (2014), which earned the Silver Award at the California Film Awards. The team is currently working on a new project, "The Jäger Within," set to appear at various film festivals in 2019.

In addition to his cinematic endeavors, King has made a name for himself in modeling, collaborating with notable figures such as makeup artist Francesco Sanseverino and photographer Davide Cancila, and joining the ImaCrew agency.

A talented musician, Ivan launched a music project named Vita Museum in April 2014, releasing the album "Frozen Limbo Zero" in October 2015. He also joined the industrial metal band The Silverblack as a bassist and video director. His solo work includes several singles and music videos, notably for his cover of “Go Tell Aunt Rhody,” which gained nearly 500,000 views on YouTube.

In 2017 and 2018, he performed at the One More Light Italia concert, honoring Chester Bennington. Ivan has also gained recognition for his handcrafted resin masks, which have become popular online. Currently, he continues to balance his various artistic pursuits in Italy, working on new music, films, and modeling projects.
