Fei Ren

Fei Ren is a talented Chinese-Canadian actress and director, celebrated for her ability to embody a wide array of intricate and multifaceted characters. Her captivating performances have garnered numerous nominations across television, film, and theatre. Ren gained significant recognition for her role as a lethal assassin in the Netflix action-thriller Polar, where she shared the screen with notable actors such as Katheryn Winnick, Mads Mikkelsen, and Matt Lucas. This role earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Performance at the 2020 Leo Awards.

In addition to her film work, Ren showcased her versatility in the feminist dark comedy web series This Blows, created by Bruce McCulloch. Her unique portrayal of a quirky hacker led to a nomination for Best Supporting Performance at the 2019 Canadian Screen Awards. Moreover, she took on the dual role of producer and lead in the play Lungs by Duncan Macmillan, which earned her a nomination for Best Leading Performance at the 2020 Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards.

Originally from Zhengzhou, China, Ren relocated to Canada to pursue a Psychology degree at the University of British Columbia. Alongside her studies, she built an impressive modeling career, gracing numerous runways and editorial shoots worldwide. Following her graduation, Ren dedicated herself to honing her acting and clowning skills in both Vancouver and New York, further solidifying her place in the performing arts community.
