Ayberk Pekcan
Ayberk Pekcan (May 22, 1970 – January 24, 2022) was a multifaceted Turkish actor, who also had a background in civil service, politics, and labor.
Born in Mersin, Turkey, Pekcan grew up in both Mersin and Adana, where he completed his early education. He later pursued higher education at Mersin University, earning a degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts in the Theater Department. His diverse professional journey included roles as a laborer, civil servant, and educator. In 1991, he ventured into politics as a member of the Social Democratic Populist Party, focusing on local governance.
In 2001, Pekcan made a significant career shift by resigning from his civil service position and relocating to Istanbul, where he transitioned into acting. He quickly gained recognition for his performances on television and in film, captivating audiences with his talent and versatility.
