Lola Dewaere
Lola Dewaere, born to actor Patrick Dewaere and Élisabeth Malvina Chalier, is an accomplished French actress with a rich personal history. She is also the half-sister of Angèle Herry-Leclerc, the daughter of her father and actress Miou-Miou.
Following the tragic suicide of her father on July 16, 1982, Lola's mother struggled with financial difficulties and entrusted her upbringing to her grandparents in Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay. Despite being a bright child, Lola faced challenges in school marked by rebelliousness and insecurities, largely stemming from her father's legacy and her grandparents' high expectations. She later moved back to Paris, where she attended the private Catholic school Saint-Michel-de-Picpus, but was expelled due to her defiance.
At the age of 16, Lola began to explore her father's filmography, discovering works such as *Coup de tête* and *La Meilleure Façon de marcher*. In 1997, she pursued her passion for acting by enrolling at the Cours Florent drama school. A serious car accident forced her to shift focus, leading her to work in various fields, including a stint at the women’s magazine *Jalouse* and real estate.
In 2010, Dewaere made her television debut in *La Vie devant soi*, and soon after, she took on a leading role in the play *La Biscotte*. The following year, she starred alongside Victoria Abril in the hit comedy *Mince alors!*, which garnered over 1.3 million admissions in France. She also appeared in the series *La Croisière*, showcasing her versatility as an actress. In 2013, she captivated audiences with her performance in *La Véritable Histoire de Maria Callas* at the Théâtre Déjazet, solidifying her place in the French acting scene.
