Yvonne Suhor
Yvonne Suhor (November 29, 1961 – September 27, 2018) was a talented American actress known for her diverse roles across film, television, and theater. Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, Suhor completed her undergraduate studies at Illinois State University in 1985, followed by a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California.
Throughout her career, Suhor made significant contributions to the entertainment industry, most notably as Cicely in the critically acclaimed, Emmy Award-winning episode of *Northern Exposure*. She also gained recognition for her portrayal of Louise McCloud, a character she brought to life for three seasons on the popular series *The Young Riders*. Her versatility allowed her to lend her talents to various guest roles, including memorable appearances on *Brooklyn Bridge*, *Murder, She Wrote*, *Star Trek: Voyager*, *Renegade*, and *Sheena*.
In addition to her screen work, Suhor was an accomplished stage actress, with credits that include performances in Steppenwolf Theatre's productions of *Grapes of Wrath* and *Lydie Breeze*. Her excellence in theater earned her two nominations for the prestigious Jeff Award.
Later in her career, Suhor dedicated her efforts to teaching the craft of acting, establishing Art's Sake Acting Studios in Orlando, Florida, where she focused on Core Film Acting rooted in the Meisner technique.
