Krist Novoselic

Krist Anthony Novoselic II (Croatian: Novoselić; born May 16, 1965) is a Croatian-American musician renowned for his role as the bassist and co-founder of the iconic grunge band Nirvana. Beyond his work with Nirvana, Novoselic has been a member of several other musical projects, including Sweet 75, Eyes Adrift, and most recently, Flipper.

In addition to his contributions to the music scene, Novoselic has been actively involved in political initiatives, notably establishing the political action committee known as JAMPAC. His passion for both music and politics was evident during his tenure from November 2007 to September 2010, during which he penned a weekly column focusing on music and political issues for the Seattle Weekly's online platform.
