Ole-Jørgen Nilsen (28 February 1936 – 15 June 2008) was a distinguished Norwegian actor celebrated primarily for his portrayal of Hans Fredrik Rosenkrantz in the long-running soap opera *Hotel Cæsar*, as well as for his memorable appearances in the *Olsenbanden* film series.

Nilsen embarked on his theatrical journey at the Nationaltheatret, where he debuted as a student in 1959, the same year he graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre. Over the years, he showcased his talents at various esteemed institutions, including Trøndelag Teater from 1961 to 1968, Det Norske Teatret from 1968 to 1973, and Fjernsynsteatret from 1974 to 1977, before returning to Nationaltheatret in 1977, where he remained active.

His career highlights include a notable debut at Trøndelag Teater in 1966, where he served as the narrator in Ted Williams' *Heat Wave*. At Det Norske Teatret, he garnered acclaim for his roles in translated works such as *Myrfolket*, *Johann uten land*, and his compelling performance as van Gogh in *Postmannen fra Arles*. With Nationaltheatret, he delivered powerful portrayals, including a jealous Salieri in *Amadeus*, and key roles in Ibsen's *The League of Youth* and *Peer Gynt*. In the 2000s, he continued to impress audiences with performances in *The Master Builder* (2003), *Maria Stuart* (2004), and *Til Damaskus* (2006), solidifying his legacy in Norwegian theatre.
