Alyssa Diaz

Alyssa Diaz was born on September 7, 1985, in Northridge, California, and has Colombian and Mexican-American roots. She attended Bishop Alemany High School, where her passion for acting began to flourish. Diaz embarked on her acting career in the early 2000s, making appearances in various television series, including notable roles in "CSI: Miami," "The Brothers Garcia," and "American Family."

In 2005, Alyssa landed a significant role as Celia Ortega in the acclaimed soap opera "As the World Turns," where she captivated audiences for over 56 episodes. Following this success, she took on recurring roles, including Mercedes Moretta in the gritty crime drama "Southland," and made guest appearances in popular shows such as "The Unit," "Greek," "CSI: New York," and "Law & Order: Los Angeles."

Currently, Diaz stars in the ABC Family series "The Nine Lives of Chloe King," portraying Jasmine, the cousin of the lead character, Chloe King, played by Skyler Samuels. In this series, Jasmine discovers her connection to an ancient race called the Mai, endowed with feline-like powers.
