Ian Cheney is an accomplished documentary filmmaker whose work has earned him both Emmy nominations and a Peabody Award. Over the years, he has directed ten feature-length documentaries that explore various facets of culture and the environment. His notable films include *King Corn* (2007), which delves into the corn industry, *The Greening of Southie* (2008), an examination of sustainable building practices, *The City Dark* (2011), which investigates light pollution, and *The Search for General Tso* (2014), a culinary journey that uncovers the history of a popular Chinese dish. Other significant works include *Bluespace* (2015), *The Most Unknown* (2018), *The Emoji Story* (2019), *Thirteen Ways* (2019), *Picture a Scientist* (2020), and *The Long Coast* (2020).
