Michael Bryan French

Michael Bryan French was born on July 13, 1952, in Lackawanna, New York, and grew up in Elmira, New York. He began his artistic journey as an associate member of The Wooster Group, a renowned experimental theater company. French then made his mark on Broadway with a role in Neil Simon's acclaimed play, Biloxi Blues. His talent also shone in the Off-Broadway scene, where he performed at prestigious venues such as The New York Shakespeare Festival, Playwrights Horizons, The Vineyard Theatre, and Soho Rep. He showcased his versatility in numerous regional theaters, including the Actor's Theatre of Louisville and the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.

In 1990, French relocated to Los Angeles, shifting his focus toward television and film, where he continued to build a diverse portfolio. His work in television allowed him to reach a broader audience while honing his craft in the competitive Hollywood landscape. After two decades in Los Angeles, he returned to his New York roots in 2010, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a renewed passion for the stage.
