Rowland Holmes was born in Stratford Upon Avon, but his formative years were spent in London’s Islington. His family later moved to Marlborough, where he showcased his musical talent by earning a scholarship to Marlborough College at just 13 years old. He pursued further training in acting, music, and musical direction at Rose Bruford College, ultimately honing his skills in acting and singing upon graduation.
Rowland’s professional career includes significant performances at renowned venues such as Nottingham Playhouse and Lancaster Playhouse. His breakthrough came when he secured a musical role in the acclaimed production of "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" at the Royal National Theatre, which opened doors to further opportunities.
