Semen Nikolaevich Serzin (Russian: Семён Николаевич Серзин), born on June 12, 1987, in Murmansk, is a distinguished Russian actor and director recognized for his contributions to both film and theater. He completed his studies at the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts in 2011, under the guidance of V. M. Filshtinsky.

From 2013 to 2015, Serzin served as the chief director of the Etude Theater and later established the independent theater group known as the Association Invisible Theater in Saint Petersburg. In addition to his directing endeavors, he is an active participant in film projects and imparts his knowledge by teaching theater arts.

One of his notable works, "Bashlachev. Sverdlovsk-Leningrad and Back," based on a documentary play by Y. Pulinovich and P. Borodina, garnered significant attention in 2014 when it was nominated for the prestigious Golden Mask Award. However, the performance faced controversy due to opposition from Bashlachev's family, leading to its withdrawal from the competition.

Serzin has also received multiple nominations for the Breakthrough Award in both 2014 and 2018. His work has earned him accolades, including a win at the "Small Towns of Russia" festival in 2019 for the production "Heart of a Dog" and another victory at the "Directing Lessons" festival for the play "A Man from Podolsk."
