Awni Abdi-Bahri

Awni Abdi-Bahri is an accomplished Iranian-American actress known for her dynamic performances on stage and screen. In February 2022, while pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in Acting at Columbia University, Awni made a remarkable leap into the world of Broadway. She secured three significant standby roles in the hit production of POTUS (or Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive), stepping in as the first cover for Rachel Dratch, and later for Julianne Hough and Lilli Cooper.

Her talent didn't go unnoticed, as shortly thereafter, she debuted in her first feature film, the Tubi-original horror movie Eradication. The film garnered critical acclaim, earning a spot in the New York Times' list of the top five horror films to stream for fall 2022.
