Bentley Mitchum
Bentley Mitchum, born on February 22, 1967, is a versatile American actor known for his work in approximately 40 films and television series. His notable credits include the Sundance grand jury prize-winning film *Ruby in Paradise*, *The Man in the Moon*, *The Wonder Years*, *Conviction*, *Susie Q*, *Meatballs 4*, *Demonic Toys*, and *Shark Attack*.
A significant milestone in Bentley's career was becoming the first American actor to take the lead role in a Tamil film, *Little John*, where he starred alongside actress Jyothika. He hails from a prominent acting lineage; he is the grandson of legendary actor Robert Mitchum, the son of actor Christopher Mitchum, and the nephew of actor James Mitchum. Bentley made his acting debut in the television movie *Promises to Keep*, performing alongside his family members in roles that mirrored their real-life connections. He pursued higher education at the University of Southern California, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama, and also ventured into music by forming a band called The Velvet Box.
Bentley is a father to two daughters, Allexanne, from his marriage to Samra Wolfin, and Carrington, from his marriage to Jaime Anstead. Tragically, Allexanne passed away on July 3, 2019, from undisclosed causes.
