Maimie McCoy, born Mary McCoy on April 21, 1979, is a talented English actress known for her captivating performances on both television and stage. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Milady de Winter in the BBC series The Musketeers, which aired from 2014 to 2016. Currently, she stars as the female lead in the ITV reboot of Van der Valk, showcasing her versatility and charisma.
Hailing from Yorkshire, McCoy comes from a family deeply rooted in the culinary world. Her parents, Eugene and Barbara McCoy, previously managed the Tontine restaurant and currently operate the Crathorne Arms pub. Her elder brother, Rory, is a successful restaurateur in London, while her younger brother, Eugene, is an accomplished actor, singer, and dancer. Additionally, her maternal uncle is the renowned impressionist Kevin Connelly.
McCoy's journey in the performing arts began with dance, leading her to pursue a degree in performing arts at London Metropolitan University, from which she graduated with honors in 2001.
