Jenny Clève (3 April 1930 – 17 February 2023) was a distinguished French actress celebrated for her contributions to film and theater.

Clève was born in Roubaix, France, and experienced the upheaval of World War II, which led her to seek refuge with relatives in Vernou-sur-Brenne. She returned to her hometown in 1948, where she pursued her passion for acting at the Conservatoire de Roubaix. It was there that she met her future husband, Claude Talpaert, whom she married on her 21st birthday, 3 April 1951. The couple welcomed four children: Nadine, Éric, Corinne, and Franck, fostering a legacy of talent, as her granddaughter Charlotte Talpaert later followed in her footsteps to become an actress.

Throughout her career, Clève made significant contributions to French cinema, leaving an indelible mark through her performances in various films and stage productions. Her dedication to the arts was recognized when she served as the godmother to the processional giant of Sailly-lez-Lannoy, Jean Gab'Lou, on 28 May 2019.

Jenny Clève passed away in Tourcoing on 17 February 2023, at the age of 92, leaving behind a rich legacy in the world of performing arts and a family deeply rooted in creativity.
