Hugh Futcher, born on October 29, 1937, is a distinguished English actor whose career spans theatre, television, and film. He is perhaps best known for his contributions to the iconic Carry On series, featuring prominently in films such as Carry On Spying, Carry On at Your Convenience, and Carry On Behind. His film repertoire also includes a role in Roman Polanski's psychological thriller Repulsion, where he portrayed Reggie, a friend of the main character, and he was featured in the musical Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter, starring Herman's Hermits.
In the realm of television, Futcher gained recognition for his recurring role as "Hedgehog" in the adventure series Orlando.
