Mia Lyhne
Mia Lyhne is a self-taught actress who initially faced challenges in gaining admission to the prestigious Statens Teaterskole. Her roots in performance trace back to her involvement with the theater and singing group at Vesterbro Ungdomsgård. Since 1996, she has been associated with Teater Grob, contributing to numerous productions. From 1995 to 2000, she captivated audiences at Bellevue Teatret as Kamomilla in the beloved children's play "Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by." In addition to her theater work, Mia has made her mark in radio, serving as a host for Børneradio and contributing to Radioteatret.
Her television career includes a notable role as Mia in the hit show "Klovn" on TV2 Zulu and appearances in "Krøniken." Mia gained national fame after winning the TV2 dance competition "Vild med dans" on June 4, 2005, alongside her dance partner Thomas Evers Poulsen. In 2006, a music group named M.I.A. Lyhne released a song called "Mia Lyhne," which served as a tribute to her and was performed live at the Zulu Awards in 2007. In the political arena, she joined the Socialistisk Folkeparti during the 2007 general election, participating in Villy Søvndals' speech on election night. Additionally, her talents were recognized in 2002 when she received a talent award at Årets Reumert for her outstanding performance in "Udvidelsen af kampzonen" at the Royal Danish Theatre.
