Rahela Ferari, born Rohel Frajnd, was a prominent Serbian actress whose career spanned several decades. Her artistic journey began at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad, where she performed from 1930 to 1940. Following this period, she transitioned to the Art Theatre in Belgrade for a brief stint from 1940 to 1941. However, the onset of World War II interrupted her performances, and she refrained from acting during this tumultuous time.
After the war, Ferari returned to the stage, gracing the Novi Sad theatre from 1945 to 1947. The establishment of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre in 1947 marked a pivotal moment in her career, as she became one of its leading stars. Throughout her time there, she showcased her remarkable talent in a wide array of both domestic and international productions, earning acclaim for her versatile performances.
