Daniel Mesguich, born on July 15, 1952, is a distinguished French actor and director, renowned for his contributions to theater and opera. He also serves as a professor in a prestigious stage acting school.

Mesguich began his artistic journey at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in 1970. Shortly thereafter, he founded the Théâtre du Miroir ("Mirror Theater"), where he initiated a drama course. After a decade of honing his craft, he returned to the conservatory at the invitation of Jean-Pierre Miquel, making a mark as the youngest faculty member in the institution's history. Currently, he holds the position of director of the school, guiding the next generation of performers.

Throughout his illustrious career, Mesguich has showcased his talent in over a hundred theatrical productions, more than fifty operas both in France and internationally, and approximately forty films and television shows. His versatility and depth as an artist have made him a prominent figure in the performing arts.
