Murisa Harba was raised in New Jersey, the daughter of an American mother and a Bosnian father. She pursued her passion for the arts at Boston University, where she enrolled in the College of Fine Arts Theatre program, complementing her studies with a minor in dance and art history.

She has directed a variety of theatrical productions, showcasing her versatility and dedication to the performing arts. Her commitment to nurturing talent led her to establish the About The Work Actors Studio in East Hollywood, where she fosters a creative environment for aspiring actors.
