Alan Vint
Alan Richard Vint (November 11, 1944 - August 16, 2006) was a notable American character actor known for his diverse roles throughout the 1970s. Hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Vint made a significant mark in the film industry with appearances in several classic films, including *The Panic in Needle Park* (1971), *Badlands* (1973), *Macon County Line* (1974), and *Earthquake*. His television career was equally impressive, featuring guest roles in iconic series such as *Police Story*, *Emergency!*, *Hawaii Five-O*, *Adam-12*, *Lou Grant*, and *Baretta*.
Vint often collaborated with his brother, Jesse Vint, contributing to their family's legacy in the acting world. He was married to Susan Mullen, and together they had three daughters—Kelly, Kate, and Megan—who also pursued careers in acting. However, their marriage eventually ended in divorce.
Tragically, Alan Vint passed away in Sherman Oaks, California, on August 16, 2006. His death was attributed to a mysterious illness that led to the failure of all major organs, with reports indicating pneumonia as a contributing factor.
