Paul Soter
Paul Soter, born on August 16, 1969, is a multifaceted American actor, writer, and director, renowned for his contributions to the comedy genre as a prominent member of the Broken Lizard ensemble. His childhood was marked by a diverse upbringing, as he moved between cities like Sacramento, Anchorage, Phoenix, and Denver. Soter pursued higher education at Colgate University, where he not only honed his craft in the arts but also became an active member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
While at Colgate, he was involved with the comedy troupe Charred Goosebeak, laying the groundwork for his future collaborations with his fellow Broken Lizard members. Soter gained widespread recognition for his role in the cult classic film "Super Troopers" (2001), a hallmark of the Broken Lizard comedy team, which he co-wrote and directed. The film's success led to a sequel, "Super Troopers 2," released in 2018, further solidifying Soter's status in the comedy world.
