Born in Bayelsa State, Dakore is the eldest of her parents' children. She received her early education at Corona School and the Federal Government Girls' College in Lagos and Bauchi, respectively. Although she pursued a degree in mass communication at the University of Lagos, her studies were interrupted by frequent strikes, prompting her to leave the program. Today, she is happily married and is a mother of two.
