Catherine Shepherd
Catherine Shepherd is an English actress known for her comedic talents, as well as her work as a writer and director.
In the early 2000s, Shepherd featured in various comedies on BBC Radio 4. Notably, she portrayed Daisy in the sitcom "Think the Unthinkable," sharing the stage with Marcus Brigstocke and David Mitchell. She also played Xanthe in "Ring Around the Bath" and contributed to James Cary's sketch show "Concrete Cow," alongside Robert Webb.
On the small screen, she is recognized for her role as April in the acclaimed sitcom "Peep Show." Shepherd made her first appearance in the second series in 2004 and returned as a recurring character in the show's ninth season, eleven years later.
She was featured as Jessica in the episode "The Dinner Party" of "The IT Crowd," which first aired on September 14, 2007. Additionally, she appeared in "The Peter Serafinowicz Show" from 2007 to 2008, taking on various roles throughout the sketches.
In 2012, Shepherd played Vicky Long in the final episode titled "Loose Ends" of the BBC comedy "Twenty Twelve," which centered around the 2012 Olympic Games and was broadcast on July 24, 2012. The following year, she narrated the audiobook "Blue Sky Thinking" by Ben Lewis. In October 2018, Shepherd starred in the title role of the HBO/Sky Atlantic sitcom "Sally4Ever." Furthermore, in 2019, she featured alongside Lolly Adefope in the short film "Sorry," part of BBC Two's Comedy Shorts series.
