Kentick "Jazz" Copeland

Ketrick "Jazz" Copeland hails from Senatobia, Mississippi, a quaint town located just 30 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee. He pursued his higher education at Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Television Production. During his time at Rust, Ketrick excelled as a basketball player, securing the esteemed Kenzell Lawson Sports Award among other accolades in his four-year career.

Following graduation, Copeland embarked on a successful seven-year journey as a professional show basketball entertainer. However, upon retiring from the sport, he realized a void remained in his life, prompting him to return to his first love: entertainment.

With a diverse skill set, Ketrick has made significant contributions both on-screen and behind the camera in various major markets, including Colorado, New Mexico, New Orleans, Atlanta, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. His roles have spanned Actor, Producer, Videographer, Director, Writer, and Editor, reflecting his belief in the importance of gaining experience across different regions to enhance one's competitiveness.

Some of his most acclaimed works include films such as RYDE, RONDO, SPIRIT OF LOVE, BIG MIKE, and BRICK’S GAMBIT, as well as the sci-fi TV series INNER DIMENSION. A career highlight for Copeland was his supporting role as Byron Lowe in the Netflix film AMATEUR, where he collaborated with notable actors like Brian White and Michael Rainey Jr. His talent also shone through in the award-winning film CREATED EQUAL, directed by Bill Duke, featuring stars like Lou Diamond Phillips.
