Ashleigh van der Hoven

Ashleigh van der Hoven hails from Cape Town, South Africa, where her passion for performance blossomed during her years at a boarding school in Grahamstown, a renowned hub for the arts. Following her high school education, she ventured to Los Angeles, immersing herself in the world of acting at the prestigious Stella Adler Acting Academy. However, her journey took a turn as she returned to South Africa to pursue a degree in Finance and Economics at the University of Cape Town, allowing her acting aspirations to take a temporary backseat.

Despite this shift in focus, Ashleigh's dedication to her craft never waned. After completing her studies, she successfully secured roles in several international feature films, marking her return to the acting scene. To further refine her skills, she committed herself to full-time training at ACT Cape Town, culminating in her graduation in December 2016.

Throughout her career, Ashleigh has demonstrated a remarkable ability to balance her academic pursuits with her passion for acting, showcasing her versatility and determination.
