By the age of 15, she had successfully completed her dance teaching qualifications and founded a dance school in Lusaka. This venture allowed her to cultivate her skills and share her love for dance with her students for several years.

In her early twenties, Annarie relocated to the United Kingdom, seeking new opportunities to advance her career. Her journey took her to the picturesque Cayman Islands, where she continued to explore her love for the performing arts. Eventually, she returned to London, not only to enhance her own career but also to support her daughter, Juliette Boor, who is pursuing her aspirations as an actress. Annarie’s commitment to the arts runs in the family; her other daughter, Danielle Boor, is also an actress, further solidifying the Boor family's presence in the entertainment industry.
