Conan Christopher O'Brien, born on April 18, 1963, is a prominent American television personality recognized for his work as a host, comedian, writer, producer, and performer. He is best known for his tenure as host of several late-night programs, including "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" from 1993 to 2009, "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" in 2009-2010, and "Conan" from 2010 to 2021. Currently, he hosts the podcast "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend."

Hailing from Brookline, Massachusetts, O'Brien grew up in an Irish Catholic household. His comedic journey began as a writer for the sketch show "Not Necessarily the News," shortly after he served as president of the Harvard Lampoon while attending Harvard University. Upon graduating, he relocated to Los Angeles, where he contributed to various comedy series before moving to New York City to join the writing team of "Saturday Night Live" and later "The Simpsons." In a unique achievement, O'Brien became the only individual to host both the NBC Late Night and Tonight Show franchises.

In 2010, it was revealed that he would launch a new late-night talk show on TBS titled "Conan," which aired until 2021. During the show's hiatus, O'Brien started his podcast, collaborating with his producer Matt Gourley and assistant Sona Movsesian. Additionally, he starred in "Conan O'Brien Must Go," a series on Max that took him to various countries, where he engaged with fans he had met through his podcast.
