Jinkee Pacquiao
Maria Geraldine "Jinkee" Jamora Pacquiao, born on January 12, 1979, is a prominent Filipino politician and the wife of renowned boxer and congressman Manny Pacquiao. Currently, she holds the position of vice governor of Sarangani, a province located on the southern island of Mindanao in the Philippines.
Jinkee was born at St. Elizabeth Hospital in General Santos to Nestor Jamora and Rosalina Capeña. She has a twin sister named Janet and pursued her education at Notre Dame and AMA Computer University. Initially working as a beauty consultant, Jinkee crossed paths with Manny Pacquiao, leading to their marriage in 2000. The couple has five children, including their youngest son, Israel, born on April 27, 2014.
In 2012, Jinkee decided to enter the political arena by running for vice governor of Sarangani province. Her motivation stemmed from her husband’s hesitance to endorse either of two friends vying for the position. In the May 2013 elections, she emerged victorious as the candidate representing the United Nationalist Alliance. Her political career has been marked by her commitment to public service and community development, further solidifying her status as a significant figure in Philippine politics.
