Somaya El Khashab

**Somaya El Khashab** is a talented Egyptian actress and singer, born in Alexandria. She graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Alexandria in 1997. Although her artistic journey began in 1999, her passion for music had been brewing long before. Initially, she worked in the tourism and banking sectors while preparing to launch her singing career.

Her transition to acting came unexpectedly when several directors recognized her potential and offered her roles in various films. It was the renowned artist Salah Al-Saadani who encouraged her to focus on acting, recommending that she temporarily set aside her singing ambitions. Somaya studied music at the Conservatoire Institute in Alexandria, which further enriched her artistic foundation.

She made her television debut with a minor role in the series "El Hesab," starring alongside Salah Al-Saadani. However, it was her performance in the popular series "El Doa El Shared" that truly catapulted her into the spotlight, earning her widespread recognition and acclaim. Since then, Somaya El Khashab has continued to enchant audiences with her versatile talent in both acting and music, solidifying her status as a prominent figure in the Egyptian entertainment industry.
