Liu Yun

Liu Yun, born on December 26, 1982, in Changsha City, Hunan Province, is a prominent actress from mainland China. She graduated from the esteemed Central Academy of Drama in 2000, enhancing her skills through a specialized refresher course. Liu made her mark in the entertainment industry in 2001 with her role in the television series "Commitment Fate," which paved her way into acting. She quickly gained recognition with appearances in other popular dramas such as "Triple Gate" and "I Love Singing."

Her breakout role came in 2004 with "Han Emperor II," where her portrayal of the character Autumn Chan garnered significant attention. Liu's rising fame was further solidified in 2007 when she graced the cover of the August issue of "Times" Asia, becoming the third Chinese artist to achieve this honor, following the likes of Zhang Ziyi and Li Bingbing.
