Richa Gangopadhyay
Richa Gangopadhyay is a former Indian actress and model known for her impactful roles in Telugu cinema, as well as in Tamil and Bengali films. Currently, she is pursuing her MBA at Washington University in the United States.
Richa began her career in the entertainment industry with modeling and television commercials before making her film debut in the 2010 Telugu political drama *Leader*. This marked the beginning of a successful journey, as she went on to star in several hit Telugu films, including *Nagavalli* (2010), *Mirapakaay* (2011), *Sarocharu* (2012), and the blockbuster *Mirchi* (2013). Her versatility also shone through in Tamil cinema, where she took on lead roles in notable films such as the remake of *Dabangg*, *Osthe* (2012), and the critically acclaimed *Mayakkam Enna* (2012), directed by Selvaraghavan. Her performance in *Mayakkam Enna* earned her multiple 'Best Actress' accolades, highlighting her talent and dedication.
In October 2013, Richa made the decision to step away from acting to focus on her education in the USA. During her brief but impactful four-year film career, she had the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s biggest stars, such as Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Ravi Teja, Prabhas, Dhanush, and Prosenjit.
