William Vail
William Vail, born on November 30, 1950, in San Antonio, Texas, is an accomplished American set decorator and actor, renowned for his memorable portrayal of "Kirk" in the iconic 1974 horror film, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. This role marked the beginning of his career in the film industry, establishing him as a notable figure in the horror genre.
Following his breakout performance, Vail appeared in several other films, including the supernatural thriller Poltergeist (1982), the horror flick Mausoleum (1983), and the sci-fi film Glitch! (1988). His diverse talent eventually led him to transition from acting to set decoration, where he found a new avenue to express his creativity.
