Pelin Karahan

Vildan Pelin Karahan, born on October 6, 1984, in Ankara, Turkey, is a renowned Turkish actress celebrated for her compelling performances in television dramas. She is the daughter of Bayram Ali Karahan and Nural Koçyiğit and received her early education at Arı College Elementary School. Karahan later attended Ankara Gaziosmanpaşa Primary School and Ödemiş Primary School, ultimately graduating from the Lyceum of Sokollu Mehmet Paşa. She pursued higher education in tourism at Anadolu University.

Karahan's career took off with appearances in advertisements for major brands such as Coca-Cola Light and Carrefour. Her breakthrough role came as Aslı Zeybek in the popular teen drama series "Kavak Yelleri," which aired on Kanal D from 2007 to 2011, earning her widespread recognition. In 2012, she joined the cast of the hit historical drama "Muhteşem Yüzyıl" ("Magnificent Century"), portraying Mihrimah Sultan, a character that further solidified her status in the industry.

In addition to acting, Pelin has hosted animal-focused programming titled "Bir Evde" and the cooking show "Nefis Tarifler." She was previously married to fitness instructor Erdinç Bekiroğlu from 2011 to 2013. On June 24, 2014, she wed Bedri Güntay, with whom she has two sons, Ali Demir, born in December 2014, and Can Eyüp, born in March 2017.
