Kinda Alloush
Kinda Alloush is a celebrated Syrian actress based in Cairo, recognized for her extensive body of work in Syria, Egypt, and throughout the Arab world. She honed her craft at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts in Damascus, specializing in Theater Criticism, and initially ventured into theatrical direction before fully committing to acting in 2005. Her debut came with the television drama "Ashwak Naaeima," followed by significant roles in successful series such as "Ahkad Khafeya," "Alzzahir Bybrs," and "Nizar Qubani," all of which showcased her immense talent.
The year 2009 marked a pivotal point in Alloush's career as she transitioned to film with her role in the Jordanian movie "The Strangers." This year also saw her star in the Egyptian hit "Hedou' Nesbi" and the blockbuster "Welad El-Am," alongside prominent actors like Mona Abdelaziz and Kareem Abdelaziz, propelling her into the spotlight in Egypt.
Kinda's impressive television credits include "Ahl Cairo," for which she received the Murex D'Or Award for Best Actress in 2010, as well as "Niran Sadeeka," which earned her the Excellence Award at the Oscar ART in 2013. Noteworthy films in her portfolio include "Brtita," "Al-Maslaha," "Excuse My French," and the record-breaking "Hepta: The Last Lecture."
Beyond acting, Kinda has served as a jury member for the Freedom Films competition at the Luxor African Film Festival and the Tropfest Arabia Short Film Festival.
